


Joela Luchun-Andersen
Joela holds a bachelors degree in Biology from Binghamton University and attended the Broome County Law Enforcement Academy.
She is a retired Police Officer from the Town of Vestal, where she served in both the patrol and the detective units. During this time she has investigated and helped to obtain convictions on hundreds of cases.
She was a New York State Juvenile Officer and DARE Officer for the Vestal Central School District.
She is trained in forensic interview and was the primary interviewer for juvenile and sexual assault victims. She has worked with and conducted multiple interviews at the Crime Victims Assistant Center and has accompanied and assisted sexual assault victims at the hospital.
She is a graduate of Boston University's Genealogical Research program.
Steven A. Andersen
Steven studied Biology at New York State University at Oswego before attending the New York State Police Academy.
Altogether he served 33 years with the State Police, 26 of those years as part of the Troop C Forensic Identification Unit. In 2005, Steve took command of this unit, which provides specialized forensic services to the NYSP and local law enforcement agencies in a seven county region.
Over his law enforcement career he responded to and managed thousands of cases including but not limited to, mass fatalities, homicides, officer involved shootings, missing persons, rape and assault investigations.
Steven has offered expert testimony in federal and state courts on a variety of cases.

Garrett Andersen
Garrett is an engineering student with a strong proficiency in computer science. He specializes in assisting with the analysis and presentation of forensic data for court proceedings. Through his technical and analytical ability he provides valuable insights into cases and ensures that complex data is effectively communicated in the courtroom setting.
